A look at some of the creative works I have produced using different tools in my professional, academic, and personal capacity since enrolling in the doctoral program.
This interactive job aid was developed to support learners on the job when dealing with occasionally occurring requests. Instead of requiring learners to leverage text heavy documentation and internal websites to determine the correct process, the learners can select the appropriate elements related to the clients request to determine the correct next steps to take.
This prototype was an exploration of using the CoSpaces platform in conjunction with a MergeCube to develop a manipulative self-directed learning instrument. As a proof of concept, I chose to focus on developing proficiency in multiplication facts, providing learners with instant feedback to allow them to engage in learning on their own. The button below will take you to a brief video overview of the tool in action, if you would like access please contact me to be enrolled in the CoSpaces course.
The Learning Innovation Plan presents a process to allow organizations to implement a learning innovation program to push the boundaries of what is possible within their learning and development teams. The plan analyzes timelines, deliverables, and evaluation as part of the implementation process.
A mini simulation for an online compliance safety course that provides interactive instruction on how to properly use a fire extinguisher. This simulation replaced text and image instruction, and provided learners with a more engaging experience.
The Tuition Reimbursement Course was designed as a self-paced learning solution for employees to learn about the tuition reimbursement program policies, requirements, and processes.
The Contractor Orientation Course was designed to address the bottleneck of needing 3rd party facilities contractors to attend an in-person orientation program. The LMS was configured to allow individuals to register, enroll, and complete the course, which allowed them to expedite their access to the site to complete their work.
The following video highlights the different capabilities of the Creator Studio I set up for faculty to create video content. The creator studio quickly became a favorite resource for many faculty members as they looked to enhance their course content. I supported faculty in recording, editing, and adding effects to their videos.
The following video highlights the application I created for my thesis research examining the use of virtual manipulatives in online learning environments. The tool was designed to help learners visually solve algebraic equations.
